Welcome to the Winter-Sett Resort Fishing Report
Update on this report 5/20/10- Been doing well with bright red spinner blades and leeches in 18 feet of water.
Update on this report 5/24/10- Anchored 25 feet water. Pink ,white, blue, Jig head. Minnows. Surface water temp 48.9 degrees. Update 5/30/10- Still doing the best at 25 feet Anchored but best with Gold jig head with spinner blade. Did very well
Update 6/15/10- anchored and various colored jigs, 30 feet for depth. Came back with limits and a bonus 30" walleye for the wall. One of the guides had one on that he had about 4 feet off the bottom 3 times. Ripped the lip and it got off.Surface water temperature 59.3.
6/28/10- anchored 32 feet water knuclehead jigs with red white green in color seem to be the hotest, biting very light, threw back several in the slot size.Back to dock with good eaters, and some just under slot.
Sorry of the delay but it was tournament time I feel I have to keep my secrets to myself. These guys know how to find them without my help.
7-24-10 32 to 35 ft crawlers were the hottest Gold spinners, Light weight 1/4 oz. To calm even for a good walleye chop.Drift seemed to do better over jig fishing, Drift was slow but seemed enough to make them bite.Brought home a good shore lunch meal, and bonus for take home for cliental.1-19 1/12 The rest of fish between 17 and 14"
8-7-10 Did very well drifting in 33-34 ft water Hammered silver with 2 oz. sinker even though it was calm kept sinker 3" off bottom let spinner blade ride off bottom Threw back several in slot, kept limits of walleyes and some saugers as a bonus.
